Contests and Call for PapersPIEDMONT PARENT MAGAZINE CONTEST 1st Annual Children’s Book Writing Contest 2005: open to all children entering grades K-8 in the fall of 2005. Children of Carolina Parenting, Inc., Greensboro Children’s Museum, Children’s Museum of W-S, Barnes & Noble employees and their relatives not eligible. Submissions will be entered and judged in categories as follows: K-1, 2-3, 4-5, 6-8.
To enter write and illustrate an original children’s storybook (for readers ages 4 to 8) not more than 20 pages in length. All writing and illustrations must be done by hand, no computer generated or media enhanced submissions will be accepted. Only one book per entrant. Finished books should be bound (stapled, stitched, clipped or inserted into a folder). Please include a legible title page, typed or neatly written, with the following info:
Books can be dropped off at: Coca Cola is looking for new marketing ideas. Adcandy is collecting ideas on product improvement, marketing, new products, licensing, concepts, sponsorships, and others.
