We
now have three novel writers groups:
Novel Writers I meets on the third Tuesday of every month
and is a "closed" group, meaning that it is at maximum attendance
and no new members may join until an existing member withdraws from
the group.
Novel Writers II meets on the third Thursday of every month
and is also a "closed" group, meaning that it is at maximum attendance
and no new members may join.
Novel Writers III meets on the fourth Thursday of every
month and accepts new members. All novel groups consist of members
who are actively engaged in writing a novel or who are published
novelists. The contact person for the Novel Writers III group (open
to new members) is Michelle Hyatt (273-9309). Novel Writers III Start time: 6:00 pm

Dena
Harris writes
full-time and is the facilitator for the Novel Writers II group.
Published in over 50 national and international magazines/newspapers/web
sites, Dena writes with humor, grace, and style (or so she likes
to tell herself) on an array of subjects from networking to
gardening, rude salespeople to cunning cats. Hailed as the "Erma
Bombeck of Cat Writers," Dena's new humor book, Lessons In
Stalking…Adjusting to Life With Cats is available at www.lessonsinstalking.com.
In addition to writing, Dena teaches public speaking, creative
writing, magazine writing, and networking workshops around the
nation. She has completed a young adult ms and is currently
shopping her middle-grade manuscript, “Millicent Powers Picks

The
facilitator of the Novel Writers I genre (not open to
new members) is Lynn Chandler-Willis (336) 676-1400.
Lynn, a North Carolina native, is author of the novel, "Unholy
Covenant" a true story about a murder that occurred in Pleasant
Garden, NC, where Lynn founded the Pleasant Garden Post,
a biweekly, for which she is publisher and editor. Her book
has recently been re-issued under the title "The Preacher's
Son," and is available on Amazon.com and at all major bookstores.
She is a member of the Writers' Group of the Triad and the Mystery
Writers of America.
