Bill Bray Writers' Group in Winston-Salem

This excellent group in Winston-Salem is co-moderated by Al Perry of Winston-Salem and Larry Bond of Boone. Perry is also a member of WGOT's Nonfiction genre in Greensboro.

The group is named after the Galax, VA writer who facilitated it until his sudden death last year. Bill Bray was a teacher who wielded the red pencil with a firm hand, but neither cruelty nor mean-spiritedness ever colored his comments.

The group meets twice monthly, from 7 to 10 p.m. on the first and third Mondays of each month at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 1925 Hampton Inn Court, Winston-Salem.

The sessions are open to writers of every genre and to poets who wish to have their work discussed and critiqued.
